Ms Nambooze Rosemary Niwagaba is a woman activists and Disability inclusion expert. She has over 15years in the NGO development world. She is a true advocate for women empowerment and Children Disability inclusion programs. She is co- founder and Director of Angel’s center For children with special Needs ,has a Bachelor’s degree from MUK in Social sciences and a Masters of science in Globalization and Development from the University of Antwerp- Belgium.

She is a champion for inclusion under People of Action honoree of Rotary International 2023

She is an award winner of the 2015 prize under the Down Syndrome International U.K.

She is also European Nominee for the Human Rights Defenders Award 2021,As a parent who is strengthening the rights of persons with Down Syndrome.

She is a writer and publisher of her book ” Abryl born with Down Syndrome a journey of significance ” She has supported many families and parents of children with Special needs to cope with raising children born with developmental disabilities

Recently in March 2019 the Rotary club of Nansana recognised her with an award for contribution towards community development.

She is a guest lecturer in two colleges in Belgium university college of Leuven and Thomas more training students who are ready to do internships in Uganda

She is married to Alfred Niwagaba and they are blessed with 4 children.
